Pricing a puppy's education feels strange, because you are really pricing the adult dog you will live with for the next decade. In Calgary the options range from a modest group class series to a full live-in program, and each format buys a very different amount of hands-on work. Here is what puppy training actually costs, and what each number includes.

A group class series, typically $150 to $300 around Calgary, buys you an hour a week in a room with other puppies and a shared instructor. It works when your puppy is easy and your schedule is not. A private session with us is $150 plus GST for a full hour of one-on-one coaching, and it comes with a written plan for the week ahead.
Puppy Fundamentals is $2,775 plus GST for three weeks living with us. That price covers crate comfort including overnights, leash manners, name response, sit, down, and place, plus structured socialization every day. A slip lead and training collar come home with your puppy, along with an owner handover lesson and a follow-up session within 60 days. You are paying for weeks of repetition you would otherwise have to find time for yourself.

Now versus later
What waiting can end up costing.
Not every untrained puppy becomes a problem dog, and we will not pretend otherwise. But the pattern we see is simple: habits are cheapest to build before they have competition. The puppy who learns crate comfort, leash manners, and calm greetings early rarely needs anything more than a tune-up later. The one who practises pulling, mouthing, and worried barking for two years often needs far more serious help.
Serious help has a serious price. Our Behaviour Rehab program for anxiety, reactivity, and aggression runs $4,850 to $5,760 plus GST over five to six weeks. That is roughly double Puppy Fundamentals, for a harder job with a longer road. We would rather meet your dog as a puppy than as a project, and your budget agrees.
