How much is board and train for a dog in Calgary?
The price of a board and train follows the program the dog is booked into, and each program has a published length and price. We list all five below with the price, the length and what is included, then do the arithmetic per day of training for the four fixed-price programs. Everything is plus GST. Behaviour Rehab is the one program priced after an assessment rather than before it.

Price by program
Five programs, five prices, and lengths from two to six weeks.
On-Leash Foundations is $1,865 plus GST for two weeks built around loose-leash walking and heel. Puppy Fundamentals is $2,775 for three weeks built around crate comfort, name recognition, leash manners and socialization. Functional Off-Leash is $3,030 for three weeks with a Micro or Mini Educator remote collar. Advanced Off-Leash is $3,940 for four weeks, with a remote collar and two free follow-up sessions. Behaviour Rehab is $4,850 to $5,760 for five to six weeks, customized after a full assessment.
The spread follows the length and scope of each program. Two weeks on the leash is the shortest and cheapest. The two three-week programs differ in scope: one is built for puppies, the other for recall and off-leash manners, with a remote collar included. Four weeks adds off-leash heel, commands at distance and public manners. Behaviour Rehab is the longest and the only one priced as a range, because its plan is customized to the individual dog after a full assessment.

The daily arithmetic
Divide by the days and the fixed-price programs land close together.
Dividing each fixed total by its training days gives a rough per-day figure. Two weeks at $1,865 is about $133 a day. Three weeks at $2,775 is about $132, and three weeks at $3,030 is about $144, a total that includes the Educator collar. Four weeks at $3,940 is roughly $141. We do not divide Behaviour Rehab this way, because its price and length are both ranges set after the assessment. The programs are priced as a whole; the per-day figures are only arithmetic.
The total covers more than the training hours. Every board and train includes daily one-on-one training, a structured routine, socialization, enrichment, updates to the owner, a handover lesson and free follow-up sessions: one after On-Leash Foundations, Puppy Fundamentals and Functional Off-Leash, two after Advanced Off-Leash and Behaviour Rehab. Functional Off-Leash and Advanced Off-Leash include the remote collar in the price. Graduate boarding is a separate rate, $65 plus GST a night, for graduates and existing clients.

We do not publish a market average, because totals quoted by different trainers bundle different things and a single number would hide that. Our own programs run $1,865 to $5,760 plus GST, and our board and train price comparison page lists what to check so two quotes can be compared fairly.
