Searching for payment plans usually means you know which program your dog needs and the number made you flinch. Fair. Board and train is a real investment, and pretending otherwise helps nobody. So here is where we stand: every price is published, nothing is hidden behind a phone call, and how you pay is a conversation we are happy to have.
Our position
The price is public, the structure is a conversation.
Every program on this site has its price listed, from a $150 private session to Behaviour Rehab at $4,850 to $5,760 plus GST. What is not listed is a one-size payment scheme, because we do not have one. Payment structure gets sorted person to person at the consultation, where we can look at your dog, your timeline, and your budget together and be straight about all three.
Here is the honest reason we stay flexible. The worst outcome in this business is a dog that needed five weeks of rehab getting two weeks of foundations because that was the number the family could pay upfront. We would rather structure payments across a longer runway than compress the program. And when the smaller program genuinely fits your dog, we will say that too, and you keep the difference.

Budget routes
How owners actually spread the cost.
Plenty of families start with a single $150 private session. You get a full hour, a written weekly plan, and a much clearer read on whether a board and train is even necessary. Others use day training at $650 per week, one week at a time: drop off between 8 and 10 am, pick up between 5 and 7 pm, with a one-hour go-home lesson each week. Both let you pay as you go while real training happens.
Timing is the other lever. A board and train has a start date, and choosing one a month or two out gives you runway to set money aside before your dog arrives. Some owners fill that gap with private sessions so the wait still moves things forward. What we will not do is invent a financing product on this page: terms are personal, and pretending otherwise would be marketing, not honesty.

Do any dog trainers near me take payment plans?
Some do, some quietly say no on the phone. Our approach is to publish every price and then discuss payment structure one on one at a consultation. Email info@northlinek9.ca and ask directly; asking commits you to nothing.
Can I get a payment plan for board and train?
Board and train runs from $1,865 for two weeks to $5,760 for the longest rehab programs, plus GST, so the question is a fair one. We handle payment structure case by case at the consultation rather than advertising fixed terms. Bring your budget honestly and we will work with it.
How do people afford dog training without a plan?
Most spread it through the services themselves. A $150 private session buys expert direction and a written weekly plan, and day training at $650 per week can be booked one week at a time. Program dates can also be set far enough out to save toward.
Why don't you publish payment plan terms?
Because fixed terms advertised to everyone tend to fit no one, and we will not promise something a page cannot honour. Prices are public; structure is personal. That split keeps both sides honest.
