Northline K9 is a relationship-based dog training company in Calgary. That means the training is shaped around your individual dog: their temperament, their history, their quirks. It is never a one-size-fits-all script. Dogs work harder for someone they trust, and so do owners.
The work happens where Calgary life actually happens: sidewalks, river paths, front doors, off-leash parks. Training that only works in a quiet room is not training, we build reliability in the places your dog struggles, until calm is the habit.

We work with owners across Calgary NW, NE, SW, and SE, plus surrounding communities. Follow-up sessions come to the real places your dog finds hard: your street, your park, your front door. That is where the training has to hold.

Live-in board & train for the fastest, deepest change; day training for consistent work with home nights; private sessions when you want to do the training yourself with a professional beside you.

Do you run group classes?
No, everything we do is individual. Board & train, day training, and private sessions are all one-on-one, because the fastest way to change behaviour is training built around your specific dog.
What kind of training methods do you use?
Relationship-based training: markers and rewards your dog understands, real-world practice, and honest use of the right tools for the dog in front of us, introduced properly and taught to you as well.
