A private session is $150 plus GST and delivers exactly one professional hour, split between your dog's skills and your handling. Day training is $650 plus GST per week: your dog spends Monday to Friday with us, dropped off between 8 and 10 am and picked up between 5 and 7 pm, and the week closes with a one-hour go-home lesson so the progress transfers to you.
Complete On-Leash Foundations is $1,865 plus GST for a two-week board and train: daily one-on-one sessions building loose-leash walking, heel, sit, down, stay, and place, proofed against everyday distractions. It also carries lifetime phone and email support and a follow-up session. Divide the price by fourteen consecutive days of work and it becomes the cheapest way to buy training in real volume.

Choosing by budget
When the cheapest option is the right one.
If your dog is young, friendly, and mostly just uneducated, private sessions at $150 are genuinely enough, provided you will practise between them. That is not a budget compromise, it is the correct tool, and we will say so rather than upsell you. Day training earns its $650 when your weekdays are full: your dog trains while you work, and the weekly lesson keeps you in the loop.
Reach for the live-in program when the habits are already set, the pulling is already strong, or you have tried lessons and stalled. Two weeks at $1,865 resets the pattern in a way scattered hours struggle to match. And if you sit down with us wanting the big program when a few sessions would do, expect to hear that. How much does obedience training cost in Calgary?

What is the cheapest way to train a dog?

Is day training worth $650 a week?
