That range exists because a dog-selective adolescent and a dog who has bitten twice are not the same project, and pretending otherwise would be pricing theatre.
The weeks themselves are denser than obedience weeks. Daily one-on-one work is sequenced around careful thresholds, the household routine is structured for safety as much as learning, and skills are rebuilt with markers and rewards before any tool enters the picture. Then comes the part obedience programs rarely need this much of: deep owner education across two follow-up sessions, because you are inheriting a management system, not just a better-behaved dog.

Why is aggression training so expensive?
You are paying for assessment, individualized daily work, safety structure, and the owner education that keeps results standing at home. Obedience teaches skills; rehab changes how a dog handles the moments that scare or provoke it, and that takes more time from more experienced hands. Five to six weeks of that work is what the price reflects.
Can an aggressive dog be trained without board and train?
Sometimes, and we will say so when it is true. Milder cases can respond to private sessions at $150 each with committed daily follow-through at home. The assessment exists precisely to tell you which situation you have before you spend rehab money.
Is aggressive dog training worth the cost?
It depends on the alternative, which is usually management forever plus liability risk that never fully retires. We cannot promise outcomes, and anyone who does should worry you.
