On-Leash Foundations is $1,865 + GST for two weeks. It works on loose-leash walking, heel, sit, stay, down and place around everyday distractions. You take home a slip lead and training collar, get one free follow-up session, and keep lifetime phone and email support. It is built for dogs who drag, lunge at squirrels, and make the daily walk a chore.
Advanced Off-Leash is $3,940 + GST for four weeks. It works on off-leash heel, sit, stay and down at a distance, public manners and harder distraction work. A remote collar is included, with owner education and handover lessons, plus two free follow-up sessions. By arithmetic, the difference is $2,075 + GST for two extra weeks and an entirely different set of goals.

Matching the program to the dog you have today.
Advanced Off-Leash is built for owners who want their dog with them everywhere, and distance commands lean on a dog who already walks reasonably on a leash and listens in ordinary settings. On-Leash Foundations is built for the dog still dragging, lunging or ignoring a sit in the living room. For many households, a dog with good leash manners may be all daily life really asks for.
Functional Off-Leash, at $3,030 + GST for three weeks, sits between them: reliable recall around distractions and off-leash house manners, with an Educator remote collar included. Off-leash work belongs only where off-leash dogs are permitted, and the City of Calgary bylaws set those rules. In the consultation we look at your dog and your goals, then recommend a program, including a smaller one when it is enough.

Can my dog go straight into off-leash training?
Advanced Off-Leash builds on a dog who already walks politely and responds in ordinary settings. If the leash basics are still shaky, raise it at the consultation, where we recommend the program, including a smaller one when it is enough.
What is the difference between on-leash and off-leash training?
On-leash training works on walking, heel and stays with the leash as a backup. Off-leash training works on heel and commands at a distance without that backup, which asks much more of the dog.
Does On-Leash Foundations include a remote collar?
No. It includes a slip lead and training collar. A remote collar is included in Functional Off-Leash and Advanced Off-Leash, along with owner education on using it properly.
How much does Advanced Off-Leash cost compared with On-Leash Foundations?
