Modern remote collars are part of that picture, and we are honest about it: introduced properly, an e-collar is a whisper across distance, not a punishment. Your program includes the collar and, more importantly, the owner education to use it with the same skill we do.

How long does off-leash training take?
Three weeks of board & train for Functional Off-Leash Obedience, reliable recall around distractions, and four weeks for Advanced Off-Leash, which adds off-leash heel, distance commands, and public manners.
Are e-collars cruel?
Not the way we use them. A properly conditioned modern e-collar works at levels many humans can barely feel, it is communication across distance, layered on top of training your dog already understands. Every tool is introduced gradually, and you are taught to use it with the same care.
How much does off-leash training cost in Calgary?
Functional Off-Leash is $3,030 + GST for three weeks; Advanced Off-Leash is $3,940 + GST for four weeks. Both include the Educator remote collar, owner education, and free follow-up sessions.
Can any dog learn to be off-leash?
Most can, honestly trained, but the right starting point differs. High-drive or anxious dogs may need foundations or behaviour work first. The consultation gives you a straight answer about your dog, not a sales pitch.
