Canmore's leash rules are strict in town and across the provincial areas around it, so a Canmore dog spends most of its life on leash, and it should be pleasant there: no dragging, no lunging, no scanning for trouble. Complete On-Leash Foundations, two weeks at $1,865, builds loose-leash walking and a calm heel that survive trailhead excitement, tight sidewalks and other dogs at close range.
In wildlife country, recall is the safety system. A dog that breaks toward an elk or follows a bear scent is in real danger, whatever its intentions. Functional Off-Leash ($3,030, three weeks) builds recall that stands up to hard distractions, using an included Educator remote collar that we introduce carefully and teach you to use well. For bigger terrain, Advanced Off-Leash ($3,940, four weeks) adds off-leash heel, distance commands and public manners.

Is there a dog trainer serving Canmore?

What should dog obedience mean for a Canmore dog?
