Seton on foot
Dense living asks for a settled dog.
A Seton walk rarely has a quiet stretch. The pathways around the campus and the YMCA carry hospital staff at shift change, kids on scooters, delivery cyclists and other dogs, often within arm's reach of your own. So the first outcome for a Seton dog is a loose leash that holds when the pathway gets crowded, and a sit that still works while a stroller rolls past. Elevator lobbies and shared hallways ask for the same calm, just indoors.
The weekend trip is a different test. Fish Creek Provincial Park is leash-only under Alberta Parks rules, and the park posts coyote warnings, so a Seton dog needs to walk politely past scent and other dogs without hauling. Sue Higgins Park, on the west bank of the Bow, holds the largest fenced off-leash area in Calgary, and the City requires off-leash dogs to answer voice, sound or visual commands. A recall that survives a river bank full of dogs is what earns that fence.

Nothing we run is a group class. A board and train starts with a drop-off from the southeast, then your dog gets daily one-on-one training, a structured routine, socialization, enrichment and regular updates, and comes home through a handover lesson with free follow-ups afterward. For Seton owners on shift or commuting, Day Training fits the calendar: Monday to Friday, drop-off 8 to 10 am, pick-up 5 to 7 pm, with a one-hour go-home lesson each week, at $650 per week plus GST.
The program Seton dogs most often need is Complete On-Leash Foundations, two weeks at $1,865 plus GST, because condo life is leash life. Puppies start with Puppy Fundamentals at $2,775, and Functional Off-Leash at $3,030 adds e-collar recall for the Sue Higgins trips. Private sessions at $150 an hour happen on your own pathways.
