How do I book a consultation with Northline K9?
Booking is the easy part. The more useful question is what to send us so the consultation starts with your real dog instead of a general description. Below are the three ways to reach us, the details worth writing down beforehand, and the questions that are answered in the conversation itself because they are not published anywhere on the site.

Before you reach out
Three ways in, and what to write down first.
You can message us through the contact page, email info@northlinek9.ca, or call the phone number listed there. Any of the three works. Written messages have one advantage: you can include details you might forget on the phone, and we can read them properly before we reply. Please mention the area of Calgary or the surrounding community you live in.
Useful notes include your dog's age and breed, how long you have had them, and a short list of what you would change. Be specific: pulls toward other dogs on the leash, jumps on guests, ignores recall at the park. If there is a bite history, say so plainly. Dogs with bite histories are accepted into Behaviour Rehab after a full assessment, so honesty only helps.

- Three behaviours you would change
- Any bite history, stated plainly
- Your area of Calgary
What the call covers
Some answers only come after we meet your dog.
Several things are not published, so we will not guess at them here: availability, booking lead times, deposits, payment terms and cancellation. Those are covered directly in the consultation. Prices are published, though, so you can arrive informed: Private Training is $150 + GST per one-hour session, Day Training is $650 + GST per week, and board and train programs run from $1,865 to $5,760 + GST.
The consultation is where a program gets recommended, and that recommendation is honest. If Private Training with a written weekly plan would cover what your dog needs, we will say so rather than steer you toward a longer board and train. We also tell you if what you are describing calls for a vet first, or for something we do not offer, such as service-dog training.

Asked and answered
The questions people ask us.
What is the best way to contact Northline K9?
Message us through the contact page, email info@northlinek9.ca, or call the number listed on the contact page. Written messages let you include more detail about your dog.
Do I need to choose a program before I book?
No. Tell us about your dog and what you want to change. The consultation is where we recommend a program, including a lighter option when that covers it.
How soon can my dog start training?
Start dates and booking lead times are not published. Ask in the consultation and we will give you a straight answer for your dog and your program.
Should I mention if my dog has bitten someone?
Yes, please do. Dogs with bite histories are accepted into Behaviour Rehab after a full assessment, and knowing early helps us plan a safe first meeting.
