Choosing a trainer
Does Northline K9 offer daycare or boarding?
No daycare, and boarding only for our graduates. Graduate boarding is $65 + GST per night, open to dogs who have finished one of our programs and to existing clients. We are a training company first, so there is no public boarding and no group play. Below is who each option serves, what it costs, and which details are left for the consultation.

No daycare here
Graduate boarding is a perk for dogs who already trained with us.
Graduate boarding is $65 + GST per night and is open only to dogs who have graduated from one of our programs and to existing clients. It exists so a dog who already knows our structured routine can stay somewhere it is already known, rather than starting over in a new place while you travel. The routine it learned during training is the same one it lives during the stay.
We do not offer open boarding to the public, and we do not run a daycare with group play. Everything we do is one-on-one, and an unstructured day in a pack would pull against the routine a graduate learned. If your dog has not trained with us, a boarding facility or sitter elsewhere is the honest answer for your trip, and we are happy to say so.
- No public daycare or group play
- $65 + GST per night
- Graduates and existing clients only
- Same structured routine as training
Weekday care option
Day Training covers weekdays without being daycare.
Day Training is the closest thing we have to a weekday drop-off, and it is built around training rather than supervision. Drop-off is 8:00 to 10:00 am and pick-up is 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday, for $650 + GST per week. The day includes one-on-one training, obedience development, structured socialization, supervised play and enrichment, and manners reinforcement.
Each week includes a one-hour go-home lesson with you, so the habits travel home with your dog. Details we do not publish, such as availability, intake requirements and how graduate stays are booked, are covered in the consultation. That is also where we recommend a program, and we will point you to a smaller one when it does the job.

Asked and answered
The questions people ask us.
Does Northline K9 do dog daycare?
No. We do not run a daycare or group play. Day Training is a weekday training program at $650 + GST per week, with drop-off 8:00 to 10:00 am and pick-up 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
Can I board my dog with Northline K9 while I travel?
Only if your dog is a graduate of one of our programs or you are an existing client. Graduate boarding is $65 + GST per night.
Why is boarding only for graduates?
A graduate already knows our structured routine, so a stay continues that routine instead of interrupting it. A dog new to us would meet the routine without the training that gives it meaning.
What boarding details are not published?
Availability, booking timing and intake requirements are not published. Ask about them in the consultation, where we also recommend the right program for your dog.
