How much does dog training cost per month?
Monthly is how people budget, so it is a fair way to ask. It is just not how training is sold, because a month of weekly lessons and a month with the dog living in a training routine are different products at different prices. Here is what each Northline K9 format costs across four weeks, and then a better question than per month for deciding which one to buy.

Four weeks, three ways
Three ways to spend the same four weeks.
Weekly private sessions are the lightest option: four one-hour visits at $150 each, $600 plus GST for the month, with a written plan after every session and the daily practice done by you between visits. Day Training is the middle: $650 per week, so $2,600 for four weeks, Monday to Friday with drop-off between 8 and 10 am, pick-up between 5 and 7 pm, and a one-hour go-home lesson each week. The dog trains all day and sleeps in its own bed.
Board and train is the only format that can finish inside a month. Complete On-Leash Foundations takes two weeks at $1,865. Puppy Fundamentals and Functional Off-Leash take three weeks, at $2,775 and $3,030. Advanced Off-Leash takes the full four weeks at $3,940. Behaviour Rehab is the exception: five to six weeks and $4,850 to $5,760 after assessment, so it does not fit a monthly frame at all. Every board and train includes daily one-on-one training, owner updates, a handover lesson and free follow-ups.

Budget by goal
Buy the outcome, not the calendar.
The monthly number hides the real question: how much change you need and how fast. A young dog who pulls a little and jumps on guests can get there in a month of weekly sessions if you practise daily. A dog that needs reliable recall in an off-leash area is a different order of work, and stretching that over months of hourly lessons usually costs more and arrives slower than a three-week program. Set the goal first, then price the shortest route to it.
Two more things shape the budget. Time: day training and board and train exist because most owners cannot deliver hours of daily practice, and the price buys that time back. And what happens after: board and train follow-ups are included, graduates can board with us at $65 a night, and a private session can top up any program at $150. The month you pay for is rarely the last one you benefit from. When the smaller option will do the job, we will say so.
