Why we publish every price
Somewhere right now, a dog owner is filling in a contact form just to learn what a program costs. They will get a callback, a pitch, and a number shaped by the conversation. We think that is backwards, and it is why every price at Northline K9 sits in public on this site, in plain dollars, with the GST noted.

Our position
A price you must ask for is already a pitch.
Hidden pricing is a sales tactic wearing a politeness costume. When the number only appears after a phone call, the seller learns your situation, your urgency and your budget before you learn anything at all, and the quote can flex accordingly. Owners in a hard spot, the ones with a reactive dog and frayed nerves, are exactly the people least equipped to haggle. We would rather you sit at your kitchen table, read every figure without anyone watching, and rule us out for reasons of budget without ever having to explain yourself. That feels like basic respect, not a bold policy.
Public pricing also disciplines us. When the numbers are fixed and visible, the only honest lever left is fit: which program actually suits this dog, this household, this problem. That is why we will point you at the smaller program when it covers the need, and it is why Behaviour Rehab is published as a range, $4,850 to $5,760 plus GST, settled only after a full assessment rather than a hopeful guess on the phone. A published price is a promise about how the whole relationship will go. If a company hides the first number, wonder about the rest.

Every number we charge, in one place.
Here is the complete list. Puppy Fundamentals, a three-week board and train, is $2,775. On-Leash Foundations, two weeks, is $1,865. Functional Off-Leash, three weeks with an Educator remote collar included, is $3,030. Advanced Off-Leash, four weeks, is $3,940. Behaviour Rehab for anxiety, reactivity and aggression runs five to six weeks at $4,850 to $5,760, customized after a full assessment. Day Training is $650 per week, Monday to Friday with a weekly one-hour go-home lesson. Private Training is $150 for a one-hour session with a written weekly plan. Graduate boarding is $65 per night. Everything is plus GST, and nothing requires a phone call to see.
Just as important is what sits inside those numbers. Every board and train includes daily one-on-one training, a structured routine, socialization, enrichment, updates while your dog is with us, a proper handover lesson and free follow-up sessions, because a trained dog with an untrained owner is a short-lived success. There are no group classes to upsell you into and no add-ons waiting in the fine print. When a price covers the whole job, it can afford to be public. When you already know the figures, the first conversation gets to be about your dog, which is the conversation worth having.

Why do most dog trainers not list prices on their websites?
Usually because a phone call converts better when the number arrives after the pitch. Quotes can then flex with whatever the seller hears about your situation. We think the flexing is precisely the problem, so our prices are fixed and public.
